Falling For You - Fall Makeup Must Haves

As you all well know by now... fall is my favorite!
We firmly established how much I love pumpkin spice and pumpkin skincare items in my last post (here), right?
Good.
So now we need to discuss my fall must have makeup items.

https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1eYVlwrqjGrb3Cs_uP_W7wio9M50wOiwh
Some are old, some are new, but they’re all so good that you’ll definitely fall for them.
Alright sorry...but not really sorry for the seasonal puns.
They just come autumn-matically to me.
Oops... sorry!
Please don’t leaf yet...I promise I’m done!

Okay...Back on track to the fall must have makeup.

As you can tell by the name, any and all things fire related are included in this palette.
It is warm and fiery but also neutral and wearable.

I have had this palette for over a year now and it is seriously my go-to for warm and coppery eye looks. I thought I might not get a lot of use out of it because of the seemingly bold orange and red toned shades... but gosh darnit it’s beautiful and so easily wearable!
I literally use it at least twice a week and that’s saying something since I basically have my own Sephora in my closet.  (Not really but my husband would totally tell you that I have enough makeup to open my own store). I know this palette can seem a little pricey, but it’s well worth the investment. The shadows blend easily and there isn’t a lot of fallout, even with the shimmery shades (that’s difficult to find). These shades look great with any eye color, but especially blue eyes. Copper and orange tones make baby blues POP!
While this palette does have many autumn toned shades, it also matches that with just as many neutral shades that can work for any time of the year.
So basically, what I am saying is that yes, this is the perfect fall palette, but it can also be worked into any season of the year due to the wonderful shade range and variety. A wonderful investment piece for your makeup arsenal.
Side note: every few months you can find this palette half off!!! Score! I have seen it listed for $27 dollars at least twice online and in store at Ulta in the past year.  Follow me on my Instagram page (here) so you can see when this deal pops up because I will ALWAYS share when Urban Decay palettes go on sale.
Also...if you just want to handle a flame instead of the whole fire...try the Urban Decay Naked Heat Petite palette.
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1P2q_E_Je2I1VwS-j0MHIYVoQFkfL6gzH
It’s perfectly portable but also has my main dream team in the heat shadow department. It’s also a petite price if you’re looking to downsize your price tag but maintain quality. I have both the full size and petite palette and love both equally.
Burn baby burn!

Let’s talk lips.
This year I have seen beautiful deep burgundy shades and gorgeous copper browns all over the place in the lip color arena. Although that might be a little intimidating, they are truly the perfect statement colors for fall.
Orange hued reds and classic nude neutrals have also been floating about as well (Give me a bold red lip any time of the year).

But you guys....
Check out the most P.E.R.F.E.C.T.  lip item I found for the fall season.

Luminess Forever Reign Lipstain in Rustic
I mean doesn’t this color just SCREAM autumn!? I love the subtle shimmer finish in this lip color because it really makes it pop. These Luminess Lipstains are waterproof and smudge resistant so that means they won’t transfer to your pumpkin spice latte cup!  YAY!!
Also, they are a cross between a stain and a lip cream so they aren’t drying, but will last all day. (Like seriously...ALL day).
Win win!!!
Side note: if you want to punch up the pop of this lip color, try the Luminess Lip Topper in Prosecco.

It adds the most beautiful champagne sparkle on top of any lip color, but is truly a match made in heaven with this shade. Try adding just a dab to the center of your lips to make your lips look more full.
Check out my beautiful friend (and OG MMG follower) Jessica!
Jessica is wearing the Luminess Captive lip liner in Chestnut and the Forever Reign Lipstain in Rustic with the Prosecco Lip topper.
I mean... GORGEOUS, right!? So perfect for fall!

But, speaking of lip toppers... This Nyx DuoChromatic Lip Gloss in the shade Fairplay is my number one when it comes to fall inspired lips.
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1ClC4ZRzwMoBslOKPPRODK5TiAYrOnSNp
Not only is this lip topper gorgeous by itself, but it also adds the most beautiful multidimensional shine to any lip color. The duo chrome makes it look gold, rust, green, and red metallic all at one time. Basically an iridescent fall rainbow on your lips. (Get it on Amazon - HERE)
I have been using this on repeat on top of my go-to lip liner/lip pencil by Buxom, in the shade Hush Hush.
I love both of these items separately, but together... pure fall magic!

https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=17WhMfEJzzHoxpIhoZfbKacKKab_8wmgT
This Buxom lip pencil is so creamy and pigmented. I use it as my liner and lipstick all in one swipe. I love this shade, Hush Hush, because it is just a step darker than my natural lip color and with this lip topper it screams FALL-ELUJAH!!!!
Still natural, but with a little fall punch.

Next up...Colourpop!

These two Colourpop Super Shock Shadows are a dream team for fall eye makeup. When I think of fall colors, deep reds and coppery oranges come to mind.
These two shadows are just that.

If you want an eye shadow that is creamy, pigmented, and packs a punch in the metallic or sparkle department....you have just met your new addiction. Colourpop Super Shock eye shadows are some of THE best when it comes to those qualities. And the best part is....they're $6 and UNDER!!! Can you believe that? Let me say it again for the people in the back.
UNDER. 6. DOLLARS.
Colourpop is definitely one of my holy grail eye shadow brands because of the insane high quality and low price point. Ulta Beauty has started carrying them as well so they're easy to come by.
These shadows are almost a putty-like consistency and are best applied with your finger, so makeup newbies...REJOICE!
I also love that if you get a Super Shock shadow with glitter in it....it doesn't fall off on your face. Like at all. That's SOOOO hard to find in an eye product with glitter.
Take my word for it. Amazing. BUY these two shades (or more) and rock this year's fall makeup trends in style.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Helio, Goodbye (Ultra-Glitter Finsh) ***Unfortunately the shade Helio, Goodbye is now sold out on Colourpop's website as a single... BUT... it IS included in a BEAUTIFUL set of 4 shadows at Ulta for only $18 (that breaks down to only $4.50/shadow)! Get it HERE.

Last up to bat is another super affordable beauty find.
It's not just for fall, but it sure pairs well with these fall products.

Essence Pure Nude Highlighter in "be my highlight"
This gorgeous but subtle highlighter is on my fall must haves list because it just that - gorgeous and subtle.
Now don't get me wrong. This girl LOVES a good blinding highlighter. I would bathe in it if that were socially acceptable. But there's something about the cooler months that make me want to tone down the shine and just have a subtle glow instead.
This highlighting powder is so soft and blurring. It doesn't accentuate skin texture issues, it actually diffuses it. It really just makes you have that "lit from within" glow without screaming..."I PUT SHIMMER ON MY FACE"!!!
I feel like this is a "grown up" highlighter because it can be used on all skin types (including mature skin that might have fine lines or texture issues that are normally exaggerated with powder highlighters). So, if you want to have a little glow no matter your age, get THIS!

Just go get it. Do it. Okay!?

Now that you've seen my fall must have makeup items, how about you see them on my face?
I am the most awkward selfie take... but don't pay attention to that, just check out those fall colors!

I used the Naked Heat palette for my eyes, the Buxom and NYX duo for my lips, and the Essence highlighter for that soft glow. Definitely my go-to look for this fall season.

Will you be using any of these items for your fall looks?
Tag me (@ManicMakeupGirl / #ManicMakupGirl) if you post them on social media! I would love to see them! Don't forget to check my Facebook page for the giveaway info!
