Easy Halloween Makeup - ICE Queen

Ice, Ice, Baby....
Ice, Ice, Baby....

You totally just sang that didn't you?

I couldn't help myself since today's easy Halloween makeup look is....ICE QUEEN!
Brrrrrr...Is it cold in here? Or is it just me!?
This Ice Queen has a very short temper and could freeze you in seconds with that icy cold glare.
Word of advice, never tell her to "chill out"... it won't end well.
The only cool she can keep is the block of solid ice that once was her heart.
Netflix and Chill? She invented it.
You're better off digging a hole to the center of the Earth than asking her for a warm hug.
Or...maybe she's a regular girl who just got done riding a polar bear in Siberia and she's almost frozen solid.
Who knows...The story is yours!
If you have below zero makeup skills, then this look is for YOU.
Find your nearest blue, white, and gray eye shadows and blend away!
I used the lightest shade of foundation I had and then applied a white face base over the top to really drain the color from my skin. I even applied the foundation over my lips to make them void of color. I set it all with a white powder to freeze it in place.
Remember, we want ZERO life in that skin. Only the icy tones need to shine in this look.
Instead of using bronzer or blush, I used a navy blue powder eye shadow to contour under my cheeks and jawline. You don't have to be precise with this, smudgy is the way to go.
For my eyes I used the Huda Beauty Obsessions Sapphire palette and basically blended every single one of the blue shadows in there on my eyes and eyebrows. I dragged the shadows all the way out past my eyes to my hairline. You don't have to do this, but I felt like it gave it a dramatic and icy effect. I blended the blue shadows far into the inner corner of my eye as well as underneath. Just remember the name of this game is to blend, blend, blend and smoke it all out. It doesn't matter which colors you use, just keep blending and smudging away to get the intensity you want. I decided to add the gray glitter shadow on the center of the lid to give it that icy, reflective touch.
I only lined my lashes lightly with a black liquid eyeliner. No wings or dramatic liner - just eye shadows were used here because I didn't want to take away from the grays and blues and whites.
For my eyelashes and eyebrows I used a white lash mascara primer instead of black mascara. I wanted them to look like they had little flecks of ice frozen to them. If you don't have a white lash primer, you can also use the white face base to go over regular mascara for a similar effect.
For lips, I wanted them to look icy and frozen, but also have that "bitten lip" look. That means that just the inner lip has a flush of color, like it's been bitten (or like the life is being drained from it due to subzero temperatures). I used a dark pink liquid lipstick to add that pop of color on the inner part of my lips and then used just a slight dab of a blue glitter liquid eye shadow with a pearl lip gloss on top. Icy perfection.
As far as hair goes, you really can do whatever you want. A white or blue wig would be so fun! Or even an ice crown or fuzzy scarf, whatever you want. If you don't have time to run out and grab accessories, you can do what I did and use an old necklace as your queenly headpiece. I also used some of my white face base to paint white, icy streaks in my hair for an added pop.
