Easy Halloween Makeup - Glitter Makeup Soul

I told you guys that I'm a glitter girl...
But, I'm going to show you just how MUCH of a glitter girl I really am.
I am passionate about makeup and all things sparkly way down deep to my soul.
Makeup fuels my fire for creativity and is how I express myself.
The makeup fire is always burning and it has finally cracked through to the surface.
I can't contain it any longer and I have let it break through to show you just how much makeup is a part of me.
Meet my Glitter Makeup Soul.
When I was thinking about how much fun it had been to create all these different Halloween looks for you, it really made me wish I could create a look that embodied my love for makeup (and glitter).
This is the outcome.
Glam.
Glitter.
Rose Gold.
Pure over the top sparkle city.
If you know me, you know that makeup seeps into every aspect of my life. It's my creative outlet, it's my way to relax, and it's also a great source of fun. I enjoy doing makeup and also giving makeup advice or recommendations to anyone and everyone. So, I thought a Glitter Makeup Soul look was totally appropriate for me because that's what I feel like inside. A big ball of rose gold and glitter! (Don't worry...if you're glitterphobic my glitter soul won't rub off on you).
Obviously, I really glammed up this look. I didn't hold back on glitter or over the top eye makeup or lipstick. I mean...I was just trying to show you my real self. Ha! The cool thing is, I only used ONE eye shadow palette for my eyes AND my glitter soul, the Colourpop Whatever Palette.

It has everything you would ever need for a fall toned eye look, including that amazing orange glitter you see on my face! Plus...it's only $18! Can you believe that?
(See...you don't need 5,000 things to make a cool Halloween look)!
If you want to know how I did my cracked glitter makeup soul, follow these easy steps.
First, I applied the glitter to the area I wanted it. I used my finger to press the glitter into my skin so it would stay in place. Just FYI, don't use makeup brushes for glitter.  Brushes make the glitter fall everywhere (and you will be finding glitter for 37 years). Just use your original makeup brush, AKA your finger for this step.
Second, I outlined the glitter area in a red eye liner to make it look like it was bursting out of my skin. No need to be super precise with this since you want it to look like it's uneven and shattering.
Next, I went back over the edges with the black liquid eye liner pen and created the cracks. If you can draw little lines, you can totally recreate the cracks. Super simple.
I made my cracks come out from my eye on both sides as well as my eyebrow and down my neck. I kind of wish I had made another glitter soul patch on my neck or collarbone area too. But...as you know, it's all customizable.
And finally, I added some glitter liquid eye liner to some of the cracked sections and to the center of my lips to give it a true "manicmakeupgirl" touch.

As you can see I also added a few cracked sections on the other side of my face as well...cuz...why not!?
Also, if you don't want to use glitter, you can totally do this look with face paint, eye shadow, or whatever you want. You can make small cracked sections or one big one. Whatever represents you...DO IT!
Another fun element to this look was my pink Mohawk!
It's probably the easiest hairdo I've ever done!
All you need to do to get this style is create 5 small messy bun sections. I used the little tiny plastic elastic bands to secure my Mohawk buns and then pulled them and spread them out a bit to create the messy, full sections. Then I added some fun glitter bobby pins and used my favorite Loreal Colorista Rose Gold Hairspray to give it that fun metallic pink look. If you can throw your hair up in a messy bun, you can make 5, right!?
Easy!
So, from my Glitter Makeup Soul to yours....Happy Halloween!
