Easy Halloween Makeup - Glam Leopard

There are a few things in this life that I came out of the womb loving.
1. Makeup
I vividly remember getting my 1st play makeup kit when I was 4 for Christmas. One of the best days of my life. I even got in trouble for trying to wear the makeup when we were leaving for a party. I got BUSTED for lying about not wearing it. Ummmm hello! Blue eye shadow is not natural 4 year old Lyndee.
2. Sleeping
My parents would fight over who got to put me to bed as a baby because I would fall RIGHT asleep...any time...any place. My twin sister however, would never sleep. She still doesn't!
3. Glitter
This love all started when my mom put us in dance class at age 3 and we had glitter tap shoes. Love at first shuffle! Give me ALL the sparkle and shine!
4. High Heels
Well, really just shoes for that matter. My mom immaculately dressed my sister and I and always had matching shoes, bows, and even underwear. She definitely passed that on to me and I love it. I remember getting my first pair of princess dress up high heels (you know...the horribly uncomfortable plastic ones) and trying to wear them to church one Sunday. Alas, that didn't happen but I felt like a true princess every time I wore them around the house. I can still hear that annoying clicking noise they made in my head.
5. Leopard print
Leopard print you ask? There's just something fun, trendy, and classic about it. I remember seeing a leopard coat when I was little and thinking, "when I get big...I will wear that EVERY day!"
Apparently I had big dreams as a child.
So, is it really any surprise that one of my Halloween looks would be a glam leopard!?
Probably not.

When I say this look is simple. I mean it.
The name of this leopard game is literally drawing on misshapen and empty spots with a black liner and then filling them in with another color. In my case, I filled some spots in with a metallic brown liquid eye shadow and others with a powder gray eye shadow. You can see how irregular and misshapen my spots are below and that's just what you want.
No artistic talent required! The more irregular, the better!
Add your spots wherever you like and fill them in with whatever color you want! I liked having them circle around one eye and then lead down the neck. I used classic leopard colors for this look (brown, black, grey, and gold) but I think it would be fun to do a colorful leopard look and use all different colors to fill in the spots. Or you could do a black and gray only look with a classic red lip.
All sorts of possibilities.
For my glam eye look I decided to make my eyeliner super exaggerated and sharp on both the inner corner and outer corner. I made my liner into an extended "inner wing" to exaggerate the cat like look (the same as an outer wing...you know...just on the other side). Just FYI...liquid eyeliner is a MUST to create that sharpness. I also had to add a little gold glitter liquid eyeliner underneath my eyes because (hello #3 above). You could totally add some of that literal liquid gold to your spots for an extra POP!
I used black and gold eye shadows on my lids to keep with my smoky glam leopard theme. I also added a little of the black shadow under my cheeks and jawline as a smoky contour effect as well.
I decided to keep my lips a neutral shade because I didn't want it to take away from my spots, but I also feel like a red lip would totally be doable.
Fun fact...I didn't have a cute ear headband to wear for this look so I had to make those ears and attach them to bobby pins. That was probably the hardest part of this look. So please make it easy on yourself and pick up a super cheap, adorable ear headband so you don't have to do that. I have recently seen some cute ones at Target for $3!
