Easy Halloween Makeup - Ethereal Angel

Cue the heavenly celestial harp music...Because your makeup prayers have just been answered.
This Halloween makeup look is as easy as they come.

When I think of an angel makeup look, the word "ethereal" always pops into my head. The definition of ethereal is "extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world." Is that not the perfect definition for an angel!? Light and airy and glowy and sparkly perfection.
Every makeup rule you've ever heard me talk about will be thrown out the window for this look.
White eyeliner?
Highlighter all over your face?
No lip color?
White eyebrows?
All of those are normally NO NO's but for this Angel look, they are a big YES YES!
I used light baby pinks on the crease of my eyes to give it a little definition, but not really a lot of color. I also used a light dusting of rose colored blush on my cheeks so I wouldn't look like a pale angel of death.
I added white eye shadow on my eyelids and white eyeliner to do an extended faint white wing.
My early 2000's self loved a good white eyeliner but let's be honest...white eyeliner only works here for angel makeup.
I added just a faint touch of black mascara so my eyes wouldn't totally disappear but then I topped my lashes with a white mascara primer to give that ethereal glow. I also used that same white mascara primer over my eyebrows to give it that angelic pop.  I added two rhinestone stickers in the corner of my eyes for extra sparkle.
For my lips I added a dab of rose pink to the very center of my lips and then slathered them in a glittery lip gloss. Glitter is very welcome for this look.
Now to the fun part....Highlighter.
Grab every highlighter and shimmer that you have and make an ethereal highlighter cocktail and swipe it ALL OVER the face. Everywhere. Seriously, everywhere. The more shimmer you add, the more ethereal you will look. You want to look like you just floated down from heaven, right!?
No place is off limits on your face, neck, or shoulders for that shimmer. Even dust it on your eyebrows. Just go ahead and take a bath in it, okay? After you apply your otherworldly glow, you're DONE!
See, I wasn't lying about how easy that makeup would be.
I didn't happen to have a spare halo laying around (although I'd like to think I wear one everyday), so I used some sequin strands I had in my old craft items and made my own. I also added some sparkly earrings in my hair (they were my husband's grandmother's) as an extra shiny touch. Remember we want easy, right? It was so fun to find things laying around to create this look.
